Fall Winter 16 Trend Report: Chloé
I begin the trend reports of Fall Winter 16-17 Parisian shows with a great favorite: Chloé.
The Chloé fashion show took place this Thursday morning in a wintery cold Paris. The collection has this recurrent yet enviable 70’s Chloé Boho touch and a new theme :biker mood. The color palette is about delicate pastel hues, nude, parma, black, white and darker hues: camel, dark green, burgundy.
The Chloé girl will be adorned with sheer ruffled billowy dresses and skirts in delicate nude hues, forest green or burgundy. To keep the freezing cold at bay she will sport strong pieces in shearling like a zipped popover, or long coat, a fluffy multicolored long fur coat or a long camel wool poncho.
There are also a lot of leather pieces for a modern urban look: long and midi skirts, a black overall over a burgundy zipped top and belted jackets. To punctuate the silhouettes, every model had a silk scarf knotted around the neck. The boots are mid-calf with python accents.
At the end of the Chloé show, we got a glimpse of the creative director Clare Waight Keller in a total frayed denim look with cropped jeans and loose top. Frayed denim is the way to go this Spring!!
